THE water cooling bath«KOOL-2-FAST» is an unique equipment which permits you to:

Other advantages:

The lower part of the cold water bath «KOOL-2-FAST» permits to refrigerate «sous-vide» cooked food or defrost sealed food while refrigerating or maintaining food in standard inserts or pales on top during all day and even over night. Immerging food directly in icy water permits not to transfer food after cooking and portionning.

The cold water bath «KOOL-2-FAST» permits to preserve fragile food (seafood, tartar, uncooked meats and other proteins, etc.) at the right temperature at all times all day or at least during longer service hours. Maintaining food at the right temperatures at all times, permits to do other things without need to clean up and put it away every time. Just wash your hand, do something else, and come back to continue where you where without ever leaving food in the danger zone.

The ice water cooling bath «KOOL-2-FAST»resides in the fact that you can deposit containers of hot food (insertions, pales, sealed bags, etc.) at closing time, directly in the cold water bath and leave them there until next morning. For your benefit, the 

«KOOL-2-FAST»cold water bath will maintain 1.5 °C (34.7 °F) to 2.5 °C (36.5 °F)  all night after cooling down food. This permitting to save on salaries for hours used to wait before putting hot or warm food in the refrigerator after cooling down in a sink with running cold water, ice or sitting for a while at room temperature. You can also submerge sealed frosted food in the «KOOL-2-FAST»to defrost faster over night, than in a refrigerator, which would require more storage space and longer periods with the same result. Next morning they are ready to be cooked just the same and always at 1.5 °C (34.7 °F) to 2.5 °C (36.5 °F).

With just minor adjustments, the «KOOL-2-FAST» equipment could be adapted to any food transformation plant after pasteurisation or fully cooked pre-packaged food preparations for retail products. In fact, the accelerated cooling of food will increase the conservation period (best before) and eventually its shelf life.

The «KOOL-2-FAST» equipment permits to safe significant amounts of cold water and ice abusively used to accelerate the cooling process in operations without our equipment. In fact, the water in this machine is constantly reused. You only need to change it after a spill or longer shut down periods. To maintain 1.5 °C (34.7 °F) to 2.5 °C (36.5 °F) the compressor is only working 5 minutes per hour to maintain its temperature (without a charge) because it is well insulated on all sides.

This ice water bath permits to maintain food longer at lower temperatures during operations, especially for buffets, banquets, assembly lines and longer service hours.
Description :

The «KOOL-2-FAST» can be produced to any length needed and adapted to your special needs. The illustrated drawing on our main page has a capacity for 4 standard full size inserts and measures 84 inches ( 2.133 m) including a working space (over the space needed for pump and compressor) to work with more fragile products that need constant refrigeration to maintain quality and conservation time. The entire high is not exceeding 34 inches (86.3 cm), permitting to make loading and unloading easer, helping to prevent accidents. When mainly cooling bags, the machine is 40'' (1.015m) hight to contain more cold water, therefore colling down the food faster.

Another particular fact is that the water displaced when charging the unit is drained through an over flow all along the backside of the unit avoiding water waves. When containers are removed after cooling, the automatic water lever valve assures the water to fill to the maximum water level again to maintain contact and temperatures of other foods and containers.

If you wish to move your «KOOL-2-FAST» unit for different kind of applications in your business during different times, the unit is on wheels permitting to be used elsewhere in your business at any time.Only one or two standard plugs are needed ranging from a regular 110V/15A up to 208V/50A plug within 8 feet of cable (2.4 m). For temporary use elsewhere, the water inlet line could be disconnected with a quick disconnect adapter and the drains can be blocked with two watertight valves.
